What devices does TableTone run on?The first release in 2023 will be for Android and IOS, but we will also provide a Windows and a MacOS version later.
-
How can I get music, ambiences and sounds? You will need to create a user account to have access to the in-app TT Asset shop, where we will provide more and more packs of music, ambiences and sounds over time.
-
Can I assemble custom presets for my TTRPG sessions?Yes, inside the TableTone app you can freely assign your Locations, Global Ambiences and Sounds to the GUI buttons. There will be an intelligent music selection system to drastically reduce preparation time. You can select your preferred music styles and tag the most loved combinations with a content aware favorite ❤️-button.
-
Will TableTone work without an internet connection?Yes. It is made as an offline application, however you will need to download all your content you plan to use in the session. There will be no streaming solution before our "online/browser" is developed. We're working on that. ;)
-
Can I load my own sounds and playlists into TableTone? Not at the moment. The reason is that TableTone is an adaptive audio application, we work with complex multilayer assets that contain metadata and need to be produced and integrated in order to be interactive with the app. Just adding wave files would drastically reduce the immersive experience.
-
Will there be a browser version of TableTone? If we reach that stretch goal on Kickstarter - then we will do it :D Because of the amount of data and the very complex adaptive playback logic, we will develop a server based solution that provides a "lean client" in the browser and streams the rendered audio. Unfortunately, we can't provide that technology with multilayer and seamless re-sequencing as a standalone browser application. Browsers can do many things, but not all of them...
-
Can I share owned assets with my mates, so they can use them individually in their devices?Purchased/owned assets can only be played back on one device at a time. However, we are working on a way to enable shared experiences on linked devices for online game sessions.
